Apple will replace your iPhone 11’s display for free if it has issues

The iPhone 11 Display Module Replacement Program for Touch Problems will repair iPhone 11 models with touch issues manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020.

iPhone 11 buyers with touch screen queries can enter the unit’s serial number into an automated verification system on Apple’s support website, or If available, Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will replace or repair the device free of charge.

“Apple has decided that a small percentage of iPhone 11 displays may stop reacting to touch due to a problem with the display module. Affected devices were manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020,” Apple notes on the repaid program support page.

To get their iPhone 11 serviced, users can both find an Apple-authorized service provider, make an arrangement at Apple retail store, or contact Apple Support to determine mail-in service via the Apple repair center.

Apple notes that it will initially verify if the users are eligible for the free repair program, and only then it will move forward with the servicing. It also implies that the user gets a backup of the iPhone on iCloud or their computers.

Apple notes that users should get any current issues fixed before they apply for the repair program. “If your iPhone 11 has any damage which impairs the ability to complete the repair, such as a cracked screen, that issue will need to be resolved before the service.”

According to Apple, users can contact Apple for a refund if they have previously paid Apple or its service providers’ concerns about the touch screen in the iPhone 11.

The repair program is worldwide. However, Apple writes that it may reduce or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. Further, the repair program does not reach the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 11. The program covers concerned iPhone 11 devices for 2 years after the first retail sale of the unit.
